LNS June Mingle Card

Well, now that I know that my mingle partner, Vivi, received her card from the June Late Night Stampers mingle, I can post it on my blog. The image that I use is a Lili of the Valley image. I made the card into an easel card. Here is a picture of the card open:

Per the email that I got, I know that Vivi liked the card and the extra images I sent along.

Thanks for stopping by for a look!

It's A Bird, It's A Plane, It's ...

Super Edwin! Man, I can tell it's been a long day. I'm getting a little silly, LOL! Here is a second card that I made with a stamp from the new Summer Stamp Club kit from Magnolia. This image is again one that I would not have probably used. I kept the card pretty simple for me, but I have been into bold and bright colors lately. Let me know your thoughts.

Fly Me To The Moon!!!

Recently received my Summer Stamp Club kit from Magnolia. I wasn't too sure about the kit, as all the previous ones have been so sweet! It also seemed as if we were being given stamps from two different collections, one sports related, and one space related. Well, I decided to take one of the stamps that I thought I was least likely to use an create a card. Here is the card:

If you are at all familiar with the Summer Stamp Club kit, you can see that I ended up using three of the stamps from the kit on the outside. Here is the inside:

I used another of the stamps from the kit on the inside. The DP's are from BoBunny "Blast Off!" collection, and the image is colored with Copics. I also used a Martha Stewart grass punch. Although it doesn't show up very well in the picture, I used Glossy Accents on Tilda's space helmet, and a gelly roll pen on the piping of her spacesuit. It was hard to make a card with Tilda on it and not use flowers and ribbons! LOL!!

I challenged myself, and it worked. I was able to create a card that had me thinking "out of the box" using stamps that I might not have ever used. I am now going to go back to my stamping table and try to create a card with another of the stamps that I did not think I would use.

Thanks for stopping by, and let me know your thoughts on the card.

Hugs,

Deb

Father's Day Card

Here is a card that I made for Father's Day, using an image from Mo's Digital Pencil. I do have to admit that I totally cased the card from SemSee's Sparkly Scribblings blog.

Finally A Maggie Card!!!

I finally had time to play with my Magnolia stamps and created this card for my June mingle partner, Suzi McManus. I received an email from her today, thanking me for the card, so now I am going to share with you, here on my blog. I do need to find more time in the day to play! Work is way over-rated! LOL!!!

Getting Ahead! LOL!!!

Well, I am getting ahead, but really catching up. I had these images colored, but didn't get them made into Christmas cards last year. Now I am ahead for this year. Both of the images are from Whipper Snapper Designs, and were colored with Copics.

A Birthday Card

This was another image that has been sitting on my stamping table waiting for me to find time to make it into a card. The image is a digital image from Mo's Digital Pencil.

You never can have enough birthday cards on hand!
